EPMD: Exhaust Pollution Mitigating Device

Our flagship solution, the Exhaust Pollution Mitigating Device (EPMD), is designed to reduce harmful emissions from diesel generators, buses, and other industrial machinery. The device uses two cutting-edge technologies:

  1. Electrostatic Precipitation (ESP) & Cyclone Collection:
    ESP captures fine particulate matter in the exhaust gases by charging the particles and drawing them to collection plates, where they are removed. Combined with a Cyclone Collector, this technology effectively removes larger particles through centrifugal force, ensuring a comprehensive filtration system that targets both fine and coarse pollutants.

  2. Nano Bubble Generator:
    The Nano Bubble Generator takes the exhaust gases after ESP and diffuses them into water, creating millions of ultra-fine bubbles. These nano-sized bubbles interact with the pollutants, particularly nitrogen oxides (NOx), breaking them down into less harmful compounds. This process helps neutralize NOx and other soluble pollutants, reducing the harmful gases released into the atmosphere.

At 0 Emission Technologies, we are also exploring energy-efficient, eco-friendly alternatives to traditional cooling systems. Our Ammonia-Based Absorption Cooling System utilizes solar heat as an energy source, drastically reducing the need for electricity and minimizing the carbon footprint of cooling systems.

  • Key Feature: Improved Coefficient of Performance (COP)
    We are working to increase the Coefficient of Performance (COP) of our cooling system from 0.7 to 1.5. This significant improvement will make the system more energy-efficient, requiring less solar energy to produce the same cooling output.

  • Eco-Friendly:
    Ammonia, a natural refrigerant, has zero ozone depletion potential and a minimal global warming impact compared to traditional refrigerants.

We are also developing a scaled-down, customized model of our emission EPMD for CO2 laser cutters. These machines, while highly efficient, can generate significant amounts of emissions, especially CO2. By integrating our pollution control solutions into laser cutting systems, we aim to reduce these harmful emissions, contributing to greener industrial practices.
